All educators will receive a reflection workbook that they can use to support their learning but this is not submitted for assessment. In the final week, there is an opportunity for participants to share a reflection about what the course has taught them. While this course doesn’t require any submitted homework, your organisation may choose to set its own expectations, such as asking educators to submit a reflection on key learnings to share within your team.
-
Yes, attending all sessions is required, however, I know that unexpected things come up. Make-up sessions are offered at an additional cost of $90 and are run 30 minutes before the next session begins.
-
I will always be the facilitator for all Classroom courses. I am an accredited Circle of Security Parenting and Classroom coach. An additional certification is required to teach this course in the classroom model, which I’ve completed. You’re in safe hands, in 2024 alone, I facilitated this course with over 150 educators. You can read more about me.

Yes, you can read more about how the course aligns with trauma-informed practice here - https://www.circleofsecurityinternational.com/circle-of-security-model/is-cosp-trauma-informed/
-
This is a common question, the good news is that all humans have a fully functioning attachment system. Children and educators who are neurodivergent may communicate the needs on the circle in their own way and the course provides the opportunity to think about that. You can read more here.
-
The groups are capped at 8-10 participants at a time, this allows for everyone to engage and reflect together in a connected and relational away. After all this is a relationship course.
-
While the course involves lots of opportunities to reflect together, every participant will engage in the course differently. My priority is to create an environment where you will feel safe enough to share your reflections but there is no need to contribute or speak up if that is something that makes you feel uncomfortable.
-
Of course, I organise these all the time! To get started, a minimum of 8 participants is required. Depending on your location we can do it in-person or online.
