1:1 Parent Consultation

The support you need in what might be the hardest season of your life.

You don’t have to suck it up in silence.

You’re in over your head, and deep in the Google hole. If you hear your MIL’s opinion one more time you might end up at the Airport, ready to catch the next flight to Bali.

But you don’t have to suck it up in silence silence.

I’m here to be your sounding board, decoder of confusion, and guide to help you regain confidence when everything feels all-consuming.

Parenting feels hard because it is hard.

We’ll get to the root of what’s going on and give you a bunch of actionable strategies to become the parent you want to be (which is not the one who sounds scarily like your own parents).

What you’ll learn

  • A fresh perspective to understand, connect with, and respond to your child.

  • Practical ways forward, guided by insights into development, attachment, temperament, and sensory needs.

  • My insight, wisdom, and experience to empower your unique parenting journey

How It Works

Your initial consultation will be a deep dive. I’ll take the time to understand, explore, and truly understand what’s going on for you so that my advice is on point.

  • Detailed Pre-Consultation Form – I’ll be doing my homework so I can provide you with the best possible support. Please complete this form at least 24 hours before our appointment.

  • Virtual 60-Minute Consultation – Zoom allows you to show up as you are, no need to swap your breakfast stained t-shirt out for a clean one! Prefer to meet in person? Email me to discuss availability.

  • Personalized Summary & Plan – After our session, you’ll receive a comprehensive summary along with a tailored, actionable plan and resources to help guide you forward.

  • One-Week Follow-Up Email – I’ll check in, because you may have questions, things may get wobbly and that’s okay. This follow up gives us the opportunity to adjust and refine any strategies.

Ongoing Support

For most parents, a single session is just the beginning. Some of these ideas require practice, unpacking, and time to fully integrate. As you work with your child new questions and situations will naturally arise. My follow-up consultations are a chance to review your progress, adjust strategies, and support you as both you and your child grow and adapt.

    • General approach to everyday parenting

    • Behaviour challenges

    • Sleep without harsh sleep training techniques

    • Nurturing a secure attachment (you know you want to be a responsive parent you just have some questions and concerns)

    • Managing the transition to early learning care environments (aka childcare)

    • Toilet learning

    • Supporting the arrival of a new sibling

  • A consultation is perfect if you’re facing a challenge, uncertain in your approach, or unsure of the next best step.

If you want your child to thrive, and you’re committed to showing up in a way that won’t leave you second-guessing every parenting choice down the track, then let’s work on it together.
