What to expect
An attachment and relationship-focused lens, where we deeply consider the role that respectful and responsive relationships have on everything that we do with young children, whether that be the routines and rhythms of the day, the way you plan experiences or document the program cycle. I pull on my Marte Meo (translated to “On one’s own strength”) training to meet people where they are at find the gold that is already living inside of them
How It Works
In-person - If you are in and around Melbourne, I will come to you. I also offer online consultancy for rural or interstate professionals.
Pre Consultation - Once you get in touch, we will work together to design how my time with you will be spent, so we are confident and clear on what we are trying to achieve and how that will look.
Options - During my time I can combine a variety of approaches depending on our agreement. These may include - observation of practice, role modelling, 1:1 coaching alongside practice or out of the classroom, leadership feedback and reflective circles, and planning and goal-setting meetings.
Afterwards - After every visit, you’ll receive a comprehensive summary along with a tailored, actionable plan and resources to help guide you forward.
Ongoing Support
For most settings, a single session is just the beginning. New ideas require practice, unpacking, and time to fully embed. As you work with your team new questions and challenges will naturally arise and I can be here for the whole process.
-
You may be feeling isolated, burnt out or stuck with what the next best step should be? You feel ready for real change and know you can't go it alone. You want someone who can practice what they preach and has the contextual knowledge to know what gets people moving in the right direction.
